Western massage therapy is used to enhance a person’s health and well-being by using manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.
Becky Yaeger helps clients connect to their own body and spirit through bodywork, reiki and yoga. Being a massage therapist since 2002 and adding Thai yoga bodywork over the last 3 years has taught not only compassion for others, but led her to find compassion for herself. She also has continuing education in craniosacral, oncology massage and deep tissue techniques. Finding new forms of self-care led Becky to experiencing Reiki and becoming a Master Reiki practitioner. Receiving her 200 RYT through Upward Facing Dawn and adding yoga to the mix was just another way of bringing self-care full circle and seeing the excitement of people realizing that any pose is accessible to every body.
Craniosacral therapy is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life and personal wellness. It works with the central nervous system to release tensions deep within the body, to relieve pain and dysfunction, and improve whole-body health and performance.
